About District 1, South West India Region, India Area

 

Our Distict came into existance along with the SWIR in 1987. Ym. P. George was the first District governor for District-1.

We have contributed one International President Ym. Dr. P. Sukumaran and three Area Presidents Ym. John Varghese, Ym. P. Gopinath and Ym. Rajan Panicker and many Lt. Reginal Directors to the movement.

 

From Your District Governor

 

 

Dear Y’s Men, Y’s Menettes and Y’s Lings,

 

First of all let me thank all the Y's men fraternity to gave me an opportunity to lead one of the greatest Districts in the world, District1, South West India Region. It is so special that we are celebrating 25th Anniversary of our District this year. Let me salute all the 24 Past District Governors for their marvellous efforts to keep our district high.

 

As you are aware the chief objectives of our organisation are Community Service, Development of Leadership quality and Family fellowship. Our motto rightly exhorts us to discharge our duty towards community service. The Area, Regional and District Project "Cancer Care" gives us tremendous opportunity to work for those thousands, who are suffering from the deadly disease "Cancer".

Let us come forward and take responsibilities in our movement, this will help to develop ourselves and to develop our organisation. Attend all Y'sMen program with family to bring a beautiful harmony of families in our District.

Let us celebrate the 25th Anniversary and enjoy the Y'sdom this year.
